Stats and Training

Here goes.
These are my current stats.

Weight 15 stone
Chest 40 inches
Arms 14 inches
Stomach (around belly button) 43 inches
Wasit 39 inches
Legs 42 inches
Height 5 foot 11

Out of shape. Though you probably wouldn't think to look according to nhs website i'm teetering on obese! Wow.

Training

Minimum physical fitness for the challenge requires that i'm able to do (without stopping) at least


  • 25 pushups
  • 6 chin ups
  • Run 10 miles
To do this i'll have to be

  • Circuit training 3 times a week
  • Running 2-3 times a week.

I don't belong to a gym or currently working with any fitness trainers. But I have in the past. So i'm not going into this blind but the bulk of training will be done at home with bodyweight/free weights training in circuits with the info provided on the website and other fitness resources i've accumulated. 

Lucky enough to live near the beautiful wildlife reserve of Westport lake which is one mile around. I can manage 5 miles non stop at a steady pace currently. Plenty of hills about in sunny Stoke too.
